Multicultural Ministry
Google defines culture as "the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group." As such, the dimensions of culture are many. As we seek to build diverse and inclusive faith communities, we must honor the richness and traditions that each group brings.
Racial/Ethnic Ministry
The mission field of the Baltimore-Washington Conference is diverse in many ways, including in our racial and ethnic diversity. The purpose of our Racial/Ethnic Ministries is to facilitate the shifts necessary to help our churches reflect their communities. Some of those shifts require advocacy, other shifts are about intentionally developing leaders, engaging young people, and/or creating new faith expressions for the abundant health and flourishing of all people and communities.
